FACEBOOK - CREATING A GROUP

Great way for teachers to promote collaboration among students - student projects, homework assignments, discussion boards, etc. This could also be used by student organizations, such as FBLA, DECA, & Key Club, to name just a few. You can send out messages to all members of the group (up to 5,000 members), you can share photos, videos, websites, etc. You can have officers of the group and determine which privileges they have. You can make it an Open Group - where anyone can join, or a Closed Group - where you have to be invited to join, or a Secret Group - cannot even be traced on Facebook - by invitation only.

Important Notes regarding this project:
1. I tried using a microphone to record audio - and even though it said that it worked - it did not.
2. In fact, I tried it so many times that Facebook has blocked me from creating any more groups - so I have to used the last one that I did - even though it's not the best. Apparently, you can only create 10 Groups - even if you delete the groups.
3. When you click on the link and click the Play button - there is a delay before you start seeing any movement - be patient.
4. If I had known the audio was not working, I would have clicked differently on things - but some of the clicks may be confusing because I was actually explaining them.
5. Then when I inserted the file into this Wiki - it worked - but appears so small that it cannot easily be seen. I used HELP and enlarged it to the maximum, but it's still small. That is why I have added the link to Screencast - the website that actually holds the JING videos.

For completion of this project - Using HELP and tuorials - I taught myself how to use JING (software that captures movement in a video or on an image). I taught myself how to create and manage Groups in Facebook. Then I taught myself how to upload video to this Wiki. I actually have learned a lot of new stuff - you definitely learn from your mistakes!
